Bevels or tapers should be minimum of 26.5 ～( A in diagram)

2.     Drawings

All drawings should be third angle projection, thus allowing for overall height of nameplate and height of character to be recognized.

 

3.     Application

If the finished nameplate is to be placed or inserted into an injection molded housing, please specify exact dimensions of the recessed area of the molding where the part will be placed. ( A sample of the molding would be of great help) 

 

4.     Artwork/ Photograph

Artwork or photographic masters should ideally be supplied 3-5 times actual size of nameplates required.

 

5.     Outer edges and hole sizes

Flashing of all edges and inside of holes ( after blanking ) is 0.15 mm average. ( B in diagram )

 

6.     Overall thickness

Average thickness of plate is 0.2,, + 25 % as a guide. ( see C in diagram)

 

7.     Height of characters

If a border is required, the height of the character should be same to allow for efficient paint filling techniques.

 

8.     Background finishes

Textured and ribbed backgrounds are readily available and also desirable as they enhance the overall finish. Customer＊s own textures

Can be reproduced on receipt of your samples.

 

9.     Colours

We work to accept colour standards but it is important to stress

that wherever possible, customer colour chips should be supplied.

Colours on metal please ! as printed colours on paper or plastics cannot be matched exactly when reproducing on to metal.

 

10. General Notes

The total height of the nameplate should be ideally 3.0 mm maximum

( see D in diagram). The height of character is symbol should be between 0.4 mm to 0.7 mm ( see E in diagram )
